Sometimes I feel like a broken record going on abo Sometimes I feel like a broken record going on about how important it is to block your knits, so you better believe I’m having some complicated feelings about my decision not to block the Mitered Square Blanket of Doom! But I have a couple very good reasons for my decision, and I think everything is going to work out just fine.
I get a lot of comments about how even my tension I get a lot of comments about how even my tension is, and if I’m honest, it really boils down to three things. I’ve had a whole boatload of practice, I’m a tight knitter, and I block all of my knits. All of them. Every single one. If you’ve struggled with uneven knitting tension, there are definitely ways to help improve that situation! This is a good starting point, but feel free to share other suggestions in the comments.
When I’m not knitting, you can often find me in When I’m not knitting, you can often find me in the garden talking to my roses. They have names and personalities. Some have spicy scents. Some are finicky and won’t bloom unless the conditions are perfect. Some have a zillion thorns. And I love each of them just the way they are.
