As I mentioned early on in the 2025 Digital Advent Calendar, I planned on donating 10% of the blog’s proceeds for December to my local chapter of Feeding America.
I thought you might like to know that, thanks to you and everybody else who visited my blog last month, I was able to donate $200 to Foodshare of Ventura County (plus an extra $10 I kicked in to cover processing fees). I’ve included a screenshot below for confirmation.
1 in 4 of my neighbors here in Ventura County is food insecure, and Foodshare can make up to 30 meals from just $10. That means, between this donation and the regular $100 contribution my business makes each month, we managed to fund around 4200 meals in 2025.
I couldn’t have done this without your help, and I’m so grateful you’re here. Looking forward to seeing what we can achieve together in 2026. Onward and upward.
