I look forward to Socktober every year because it’s a fun excuse to do some deep dives into the wonderful world of sock knitting. If you had told me back in 2008, when I knit my first socks, that eventually I’d become slightly obsessed with them, well… I probably would have been confused by that information. But here we are, 17 years later, and I really, really love knitting socks. I love thinking about socks. I hope you’re not sick of hearing about socks from me just yet.

When the Santa Rosa Socks are re-released on Frida When the Santa Rosa Socks are re-released on Friday, you’ll see two options for purchasing your copy. One will be the standard solo pattern, but the other will be a bundle of four total patterns. This bundle includes three other patterns I’ve designed using Camellia Fiber Company’s CFC Merino Sport base. They’re all meant to be soft, squishy, lounge-at-home socks, so they use thicker yarn and are knit at a slightly looser gauge than I’d use for shoe socks. The bundle is going to be a pretty sweet deal, so be sure to keep an eye out!
