One really cool thing about the test knit process: I get to hear from knitters who use different sock knitting methods. I’m a 9” circular fan, myself, and Magic Loop is not my jam, so I was really grateful to have input from experienced Magic Loopers on this one. Aspect Ratio is out on July 11. There’s even a roundup of pieces I’ve found online if you’d rather just let me do the hunting for you (I love browsing through online listings, let’s be real).
I was SO CLOSE to finishing this little pair of so I was SO CLOSE to finishing this little pair of socks, and then I realized the numbers weren’t adding up for the instep. I had knit a heel flap that was too narrow. So it sat in time out for a couple days. Today, I had the patience and energy, so I ripped out the heel and started knitting again. And anyway, time spent knitting is never wasted.
