I’ve been knitting socks since 2008 and designin I’ve been knitting socks since 2008 and designing them since 2018. It’s safe to say I’ve knit a lot of socks since then.

Come join me for an online workshop as part of the Knit Happy Summit, where I’ll walk you through all the factors to consider before you buy sock yarn for your next project.

The Knit Happy Summit is an entirely online summit featuring me and 20+ other super knowledgeable designers and teachers sharing their best tips and tricks to make your knitting experience better. It runs from November 6-9, 2025. There’s a free option with some limitations and an expanded pass that gets you tons of great bonuses (including four sock patterns from yours truly).

The bundle is going to be a pretty sweet deal, so be sure to keep an eye out!

The Santa Rosa Socks have long needed an update, but for some reason, I dragged my feet on it. They are finally ready, though, and the updated pattern will be released on Halloween.

They now have five sizes, a new sample, fresh pictures, clearer instructions, and most importantly, thorough tech editing from @techeditor.bluecrabknits.
