  1. Thank you so much for this blog! I got your email and had to see what it was about. You hit the nail on the head this time! I often felt inadequate because I’m a slow knitter, and often times I am the one who will start something and frog it and start something else because I don’t like how the project was going…so I start with a different yarn or just something else for that yarn in particular. I do knit for the enjoyment of the process and how it helps me to relax. I do feel pressured sometimes recently due to the need to make some baby items for a friend who is having quadruplets and the time constraints are so real. Being sick doesn’t help matters either. I’m enjoying the knitting process of making these baby sacks / cocoons, hats, and socks for them I’m just not interested in speed!

    I just wanted to say thank you so much for validating my way of doing things. To destress, to relax is a big thing for me as it is usually hard to do with migraines, cluster headaches and such. Thanks again from an on purpose slow knitter 🙂
