I did a lot of work on it over the weekend while we watched a couple movies and had some family get together. This one doesn’t have an actual deadline, though, so I’m going to have to set it aside for some other, more urgent project.

And yet, it’s so important to know what a shawl looks like in its entirety, which you can really only see when the shawl is laid flat, hung across a wide span, or spread out across something.

These photos give you a sense of just how big this shawl is and how the stitch pattern looks across the entire thing.
